A LITTLE ABOUT US...

J-Bear Child Development Center offers quality day care, preschool, and after-school for ages 6 weeks to twelve years in a safe and caring environment that promotes learning and child development.  Children who are ready to learn mentally, physically and emotionally will conquer the tasks set forth for them.  This will promote self esteem and reduce frustration and boredom. We provide hot meals for breakfast and lunch, with snacks in the afternoon. Our School is located in Mooresville, North Carolina. We are the most established Preschool in the Mooresville area with 29 years of experience. Being a 4 Star Center, we are very proud of our enhanced standards, teacher education and large classrooms.

J-Bear employs the "Letters" curriculum for instructional purposes.

Our center has been family owned and operated since 1988. We are a state-certified 4-star center. Among the many activities we provide are Music classes, Spanish lessons, covered courtyard for bad weather day's and field trips. All ages follow the high scope curriculum that we use, and we have a registered nurse on duty every day. We accept all credit cards and are the most affordable, quality day care in the Lake Norman area.

Lead teachers hold degrees in Early Childhood Education or other related fields and Assistant teachers have required education and experience.  Several of our employees have been with us for 29 years with the majority being with us for 10 years or more.  Our Staff are exceptional at building a proper foundation for your child's education.
